Dr. Gary Richardson

Dr. Gary Richardson is a unique kind of dentist. With his kid-oriented style and fun personality, he gets children excited about their dental care, helping them develop healthy habits that will last a lifetime.

After earning his doctorate from Creighton School of Dentistry in Omaha in 1993, Dr. Richardson learned that he particularly enjoyed helping children develop healthy smiles. This led him to complete a pediatric residency at the University of Nebraska Medical center in 1995, earning status as a specialist in pediatric dentistry.

Each year, Dr. Richardson continues to study advanced children's dentistry, especially in the areas of child behavior management and sedation dentistry. Most importantly, he takes the time to get to know each child personally, communicating with parents and children to create a lifetime of great smiles.

Dr. Richardson and his wife, Jeanie, have been married thirteen years and have four children of their own.

Dr. Richardson is a proud member of: The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, The American Dental Association, The Nevada Dental Association, and The Southern Nevada Dental Society

Lisa Bailey, Office Manager

Lisa has been working in the pediatric dental field for over a decade and has been involved in every area of the dental practice: dental assisting, laboratory, hygiene assisting, continuing care, scheduling, financial coordination, treatment coordination, accounts payable, public relations, and office management. Lisa has an associate of arts degree in business management

Lisa possesses a tremendous level of commitment to providing superb dental care to the patients. She is always open to constructive criticism in an effort to work in the best pediatric dental office in Las Vegas. She loves working with Dr. Gary, her co-workers and most of all the patients.

Lisa is CPR certified.

Shanlen Rink, Patient Coordinator

Shanlen graduated from Centennial High School in 2006 with honors, and then attended the Concorde Career College to obtain her certificate in dental assisting. Shanlen has always known the dental field would be a great fit for her, and we are lucky to have her here at Adventure Smiles.

Shanlen's smiling face will be the first thing you encounter as you come in. She is currently our patient coordinator however, on occasion you might find her helping out in back.

Shanlen is CPR certified.

Windy Bailey, Billing Coordinator

Windy has over four years experience in the dental field bringing with her over two years of managing a non-profit dental office and with her love of children, feels pediatric dentistry is the right fit for her. As a billing coordinator Windy is able to use her education to her benefit. Windy is happy to answer any and all billing questions, and I'm sure all will discover how friendly and courteous Windy truly is.

Windy is a stickler for details and accuracy, so rest assured all insurance claims will be sent efficiently and accurately. She is committed to providing parents with a stress free visit and assists in any way possible to ensure every parent's questions are answered.

Joann Fernandez, Dental Assistant

Joann has over ten years in the dental field and really loves what she does. Joann is not only a dental assistant but our Hospital Coordinator, caring for children who have special needs or require further attention in the surgery center. Joann is known around the office for her calm and happy demeanor and patients and co-workers alike truly enjoy her.

Joann brings to Adventure Smiles not only excellent skills in dental assisting but experience in the insurance field as well, having worked for a major insurance company for two years previously. Joann is caring, efficient and delicate to every patient in whom she cares for, and many children greet her with a hug upon their return to the office.

Stephanie Rapp, Dental Assistant

As a dental assistant, Stephanie has a lot of experience. Born and raised in Las Vegas, Stephanie decided to give the East Coast a try and attended the Art Institute of New England for two years, majoring in photography.

Stephanie grew up in a dental family. Her Dad is a dentist, and she was old enough to watch him go through dental school, and he taught her a lot. She began training as a dental assistant at the age of 14, and has been perfecting it since.

Stephanie is CPR certified.

Tara Conley, Dental Assistant

Tara completed her dental assisting program at CSN here in Las Vegas and completed her externship here at Adventure Smiles.

Tara decided to explore a career in the dental field because she loves working with people and wants everyone to enjoy a healthy, happy smile. With a toddler of her own, she knows exactly how to care for kids, and they love her!

Tara is CPR certified.

Elizabeth Hirshey, Dental Assistant

Elizabeth has been a dental assistant for over a decade, specializing in the care of children. Elizabeth received her training through the United States Air Force, and has enjoyed it immensely. Elizabeth enjoys working in the pediatric field and uses her gentle, calm demeanor to her advantage when working with children, having two children herself has helped her experience exactly what children need. Both parents and children a like love Elizabeth and she is often requested by our patients. Elizabeth is always happy to assist our Spanish speaking patients in translation as well.

Carmen Campos, OSHA Compliance Officer

Carmen has been in the dental field for almost a decade and contributes to Adventure Smiles in many ways. Carmen is a helpful, happy part of our team and keeps our office immaculate. Carmen ensures that every corner of this office is pristine and up to the high standards we have set for the office.

Carmen has extensive experience and is very knowledgeable in OSHA regulations in terms of sterilization and maintenance of the office equipment. Rest assured that Carmen assists in keeping everything above the regulated standards of a dental office.
